We've arrived in UK

Departed Senai Johor on the 2nd of Nov 2011 and arrived in Manchester the nxt day, around 9 pm, accompanied by me mum, Hjh Normah Idris.

After, about 3 weeks we got in the cable and broadband. I also found a 7-seater Vauxhall Zafira bought it from a Bangladeshi guy who lives in Bury in a bungalow. Saw his ad in motortrade. Thanks to Bro saiful at Brideoak street who sent me there. Yet to finalise the car insurance.

Leaving the banking industry

Yesterday I tendered my resignation letter. Yes, I'm quiting after having worked for 18 years in a few local banks.

Manchester, here we come

Our UK visas finally cleared this week. Now we need to fix flight dates.
My wish for a career change finally came thru. Shall be submitting the resignation letter in about 2 weeks time.

January February

Its been a month since we moved in to our new home. We've moved out from the government quarters which we stayed for 7 years. The new neighbors are filled by residences and those working in the neighbouring country. A surau is currently being built. The kids still go to the same school SRAB in town for the time being. The house is still a mess. I think there's a mouse trapped somewhere.

There's no fixed line i.e. streamyx and the broadband we have is really slow .. That should explain why I didn't update this blog. Of course had to fight the web usage with the kids.

During the CNY break last week we traveled to K. Pilah. The week before was a trip to Mersing to check the kebun's progress. Nak kena beli baja ..Before that I flew up to Head Office in KL on Jan 27. Fireflyz seems OK. Oh and the new Senai Aeromall is completed. Still nothing spectacular there.
